The Global AirRail alliance is an international organisation dedicated to air-rail inter modality. A successful example of this air-rail inter modality is the Heathrow Express that connects central London with Heathrow airport. This conference in Olso joined top rail operators, airports, airlines and suppliers from all over the world who work towards delivering a more seamless experience for rail and air customers.
Mario Coelho from STBY was invited to present practical evidence of how the customer perspective can serve as common ground for inter-company cooperation. The future will expose the need for companies in this industry too innovate together as travellers demand an ever-more seamless experience.
STBY presented the case study of a 2013 project where the customer perspective served as the catalyst for innovation and cooperation in between two large transport companies in the Netherlands. More information on that project can be found here.
